What is AWANA?? It stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed!! It is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 which states, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”
Our AWANA Club is for boys and girls who will be starting Kindergarten within two years, through 6th grade. It is a Bible-centered club built around Scripture memorization, Bible lessons, singing, and a game time.
AWANA meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:15. Clubbers are encouraged to arrive early to check-in with the club secretary.
Children first work in a booklet to introduce them to their club. Once this booklet is completed, they can then purchase their club handbook and uniform.
Clubbers are encouraged to wear pants or shorts (please be sure shorts are at least mid-thigh in length) and tennis shoes. And if you have a Bible to bring it.
The entire AWANA staff—the directors, leaders, listeners, secretaries, games people, and helpers all form an enthusiastic team.
